The Chempaka Legacy:

For over 41 years (1984–2025), L’école Chempaka has been the school of choice for families across Kerala — a place where generations have trusted us with their greatest aspiration: the future of their children. More than just a premier school, Chempaka is a community built on excellence, trust, and vision. Parents choose us because they know their children will receive an education that blends academic mastery with life skills, creativity with compassion, and tradition with innovation. At the heart of this legacy is The Chempaka Way — our philosophy of education built on 13 timeless principles. It ensures that:
  • Learning is natural and joyful, allowing children to grow freely
  • Creativity and imagination are nurtured in every child
  • Compassion and values guide character and choice
  • Inquiry and research spark curiosity and innovation
  • Balance of mind, body, and spirit prepares learners for life beyond school

Our Vision:

An outstanding school cultivating dynamic students who are culturally aware and collaborative within a multicultural society.

Our Mission:

Achieving Social Grace by providing an environment where students, parents, teachers and administration (Chempakaites) work together as a nurturing community that lays emphasis on intellectual and emotional growth, in which every student discovers and realizes his/her full potential empowering students to become future leaders who possess qualities of wisdom, valour, loyalty and integrity focusing on developing visionary, expressive and confident individuals with sensitivity and concern for the less fortunate, the environment, diversity, communal harmony, human rights and democratic values.

Our Eco-Mission:

Every Chempakite is expected to take with them Eco-Values from School to Home to Community.

Our Philosophy:

Our philosophy of education is deeply grounded in humanity. Who are we; what do we have to offer the world and why do we need education? The answer to these most fundamental of questions is precisely why there must be a Chempaka in the world. Humanity is inherently value-based. However, we do not simply live according to a system of values because we have to. We do so because it allows us to live our lives with pleasure and purpose; we are free to create, innovate and express ourselves in such a way that adds to greater happiness, harmony and peace of human society.

The Chempaka Way:

Where childhood is honoured, learning feels natural, and values shape life. The Chempaka Way is the soul of our schools — a living philosophy that guides everything we do. It is not a document or a policy. It is a culture… felt in our classrooms, our conversations, our art, our silence, our festivals, and our daily rhythm. These 13 timeless principles have shaped generations of Chempaka children — helping them grow with compassion, curiosity, confidence, and integrity.

Code of Conduct:

Let your conduct befit your family, school and nation Éndeavour to succeed in everything you do Carry yourself with dignity and grace Organise your study materials, resources and time Listen to and follow your elders’ instructions Examine your actions Co-operate with your teachers and classmates Hand in quality work and assignments that you can be proud of Ensure that you seek and give assistance whenever needed Maintain discipline and punctuality Present yourself well by being clean, neat and well-groomed Always be courteous and respectful Keep your surroundings clean and beautiful; be energy conscious and eco-friendly Above all, be gentlemen and ladies of whom L’école can be proud.

School Anthem:

I’d like to build the world a home And furnish it with love, Grow apple trees and honey bees And snow-white turtle doves. I’d like to teach the world to sing In perfect harmony. I’d like to hold it in my arms And keep it company. I’d like to see the world for once All standing hand in hand: And hear it echo through the streets For peace throughout the land.

Chairman’s Message:

Let me start this message with a very simple question; whether anyone, perhaps a parent or a teacher or a friend could ever predict the future of a child? The answer in my thoughts is a “No”.

Many people who achieved greatness in their lifetime were sometimes unimpressive in their early days. However they could explore their mind fully and fearlessly in their lifetime. In that process they became great contributors and role models to humanity.

Dear readers, I believe, that is the truth behind good learning. Every child deserves to be liberated from within, while engaged in learning. Liberated to explore one’s own mind to its fullness, children build confidence to express and explore themselves.

Children are liberated only when their schools are ready to free their mind from fears of going wrong or from the doubts of doing a mistake in front of others. Schools are not to enslave a child to lose his confidence in the learning process. When their fears are wiped off, children become stress free and mindful, thereby capable of independent thinking, self exploring, developing good values for themselves and they are happy to learn. They know how to respect themselves as well as respect others when engaged.

When children are allowed to connect themselves to people who meet their passion, they create role models of such eminent people who they wish to become one day in their life.

With a role model in their heart, children shall look for a teacher to guide them to achieve their role model. Teachers are born first in the mind of a child and then they meet the real world teacher. This is the most important function of a school.

That is the chempaka way of learning and the Athena values of education.

We are a group of 6 schools in the American curriculum, 4 Schools in the British Curriculum and one school with 2 campuses in the ICSE curriculum. We are present in Dubai , Sharjah in UAE and Trivandrum in India. We are a brand by ourselves, enriched with our own training centre, guided by an academic board composed of educational experts from the United Kingdom, United States of America and India. Our teachers undergo meaningful induction as well as pedagogical training regularly and are therefore enriched in caring and sharing and to become the best friend and guide of our children . Our children are known as chempakaits in Kerala, children with freedom to express, engaged in self exploration for creativity. They are well behaved and good mannered. Many Chempakaits are great achievers, working in responsible positions locally and internationally. Needless to say our Principals are well leaders trained internationally.

We are pleased to inform you that we are now coming to your city.

I welcome every parent to our temple of knowledge.

I take this opportunity to congratulate our Director’s , Principals, staff and students for every effort that helped us to feel proud of what we are today.

Sincerely,
VNP RAJ
