Chempaka Kindergarten blends the strengths of internationally respected early childhood philosophies — Montessori-inspired learning, Reggio-inspired exploration, and nature-based discovery — while remaining deeply rooted in the values of the Chempaka community. Since 1984, early childhood learning has been the heart of the institution. Guided by The Chempaka Way, the programme nurtures curiosity, language development, independence, and joyful exploration during the most formative years of childhood.
Silver Rocks Junior School builds strong academic foundations in language, Mathematics, and Science alongside independent thinking and emotional confidence. As the first school in India to introduce a structured Chempaka Research Skills Programme from the primary years, students learn to inquire, interpret, collaborate, and communicate their ideas with growing confidence. Every child also maintains a Learning Journal — a Chempaka practice that makes reflection a habit, not an afterthought.
Middle School marks a meaningful transition towards independent thinking, deeper academic engagement, and personal responsibility. Students explore individual science disciplines, computational thinking, and the Chempaka Research Skills framework with increasing depth. Structured sessions on personal and social-emotional development, alongside platforms such as Model United Nations, debates, and student leadership, help students navigate adolescence with maturity and a growing awareness of the world around them.
Secondary School integrates the academic rigour of the ICSE curriculum with the broader philosophy of The Chempaka Way. Students strengthen analytical thinking, structured academic writing, and research abilities, with subject choices that allow them to explore their individual interests and strengths. Beyond academics, events like CRE8, Model United Nations, and student leadership initiatives shape well-rounded individuals with the clarity and confidence to enter the Higher Secondary years with purpose.
Higher Secondary (ISC) is the culmination of the Silver Rocks learning journey. Students pursue specialised streams in Science, Commerce, or Humanities with academic depth and precision, supported by structured mentoring for university education in India and abroad. Senior students also lead the school community — organising CRE8, mentoring younger peers, and representing Silver Rocks in academic and cultural forums — emerging as thoughtful, confident, and responsible young adults ready for the world ahead.
Chempaka Kindergarten
The learning journey at L’école Chempaka Silver Rocks begins with Chempaka Kindergarten, a programme shaped by over four decades of experience in early childhood education.
Since the beginning of the Chempaka journey in 1984, early childhood learning has remained the heart of the institution. The kindergarten programme reflects a deep understanding of how young children grow — intellectually, socially, emotionally, and creatively.
Guided by The Chempaka Way, the kindergarten environment nurtures curiosity, language development, independence, and joyful exploration during the most important formative years of childhood.
Children experience learning through play, conversation, discovery, and meaningful interaction with teachers and peers.
Junior School (Grades 1–5)
At L’école Chempaka Silver Rocks Junior School, the primary years form the most important stage in a child’s journey from curiosity to confident learning.
These years are carefully designed to build strong academic foundations, language fluency, independent thinking, and emotional confidence, while preserving the natural joy of childhood.
The Junior School reflects the spirit of The Chempaka Way — where learning is thoughtful, structured, and deeply connected to the child.
Here, children do not simply move through subjects; they develop the confidence to think, question, communicate, and grow.
Middle School (Grades 6–8)
The Middle School years at L’école Chempaka Silver Rocks mark a significant transition in a student’s learning journey.
Students begin to move from guided learning towards independent thinking, deeper academic engagement, and greater personal responsibility.
These years are designed to help students explore knowledge across disciplines while developing confidence, curiosity, and maturity.
The programme integrates the academic strength of the ICSE curriculum with the broader educational philosophy of The Chempaka Way, ensuring that learning remains thoughtful, balanced, and meaningful.

During these years, students strengthen their academic abilities, leadership qualities, and clarity about future pathways, preparing them for both the ICSE board examinations and the next stage of their educational journey.
